So here it is, my new web log entry. Here I am, just 19 short days till I get married, and I find myself wondering,"Hey, does this mean no more sleeping on Shawn's couch?" And at first I am saddend by this question. But then a new thought enters my head,"You Idiot, that couch isn't that comfortable anyway!" I start to smile till I remember the fact that MY couch isn't that comfortable also. My mind soon becomes engaged in a struggle to decide which couch is actual more comfortable. As the struggle progresses into a full scale battle, the jedi forces seeping from the game Shawn is playing begins to take sides. The battle rages on, soon engulfing my entire thoughts. The vision of the world around me slowly starts to dim and fade away. As the reality of the fact that this war will not be soon won enters into what is left of my conscious, then.....truth reveals itself.
-"Hey! I'm not going to sleep on my couch!"
-"Well....where Will I sleep then?
-"The bed you IDIOT!"
As the last word was yelled at an unbelievably loud level, both sides of the battle stop and turn as one against the Insulter (aka: Insult Man)......(or Person). The beauty of two sides becoming one, united in a common enemy is almost enough to bring one to tears. As I wipe away the forming of one such liquid trying to seep his way out of my face, the sides of my mind lay wast to the once ill tempered voice of reason. It's not until that moment that the jedi thoughts finaly kick in. As my mind begins to calm and clear (and as the Insulter (aka: Insult Man)......(or Person) is black and blue) It hits me..
-"Oh crap! He's right!"
The once mad mob centered on beating the Insulter (aka:.....you get it) now becomes a huge party. And once again balance is restored to the galaxy.....of my mind. "What "balance"?" you say. Well it's simple, it's like math. Well....math isn't always simple....For the sake of the argument lets say that math is simple. Well.....it also depends on who you are and what level of math we are talking about. Addition and Subtraction might be easy for a person in college, but maybe not a person in Pre-K. But then again, what Pre-K kid is going to be reading this? But I do have a wide range of aged friends. Do I have any Pre-k friends........Let me check my phone book......Crap, I don't have a phone book.
O.K.!!! That's it! It's like this, say you are at least a Freshman in college, know how to work a computer, live in this time zone, have hair, and half a brain.....THEN addition and subtraction would be easy for you............What?.........uh.............Who we talk'n about???
Good night, or day (depending on the time zone).
